Our students' 2022 Achievements
60% of TLL students achieved a score of AL 1 or Al 2 in their TLL subjects.
1 out of 3 TLL students achieved a PSLE score of 6 or better.
These positive results were achieved by our 2022 PSLE cohort hailing from more than 160 primary schools.
Deciphering the current PSLE scoring system
PSLE scores are now less finely differentiated. The key is differentiation. The key difference between the new Als and the previous grading system is the redistribution of marks for a narrow range in the upper grades and a wider range in lower grades.
Grade | Mark | Achievement Level (AL) | Mark |
|---|---|---|---|
An achievement Level (Al) of 1 or 2 means a grade equivalent to an A* or a high A in the past. Without a wide-ranging T-score, students gain entry to schools based on a maximum of 29 possible scores.
